Why are gift set prices different at retailers?
My gift set prices are exclusive to my online store. Retailers set their own pricing, which may differ from what you see here. To guarantee my online prices, please shop directly at theampthillalchemist.com.

Orders & Gifting
Can I add a personal message to my order?
Yes! At checkout, you'll find an "Add a personal message (optional)" field. Simply type your message and I'll include a handwritten note with your order, perfect for gifting alongside a physical product.
Please note: if you're purchasing a gift card only, the message will be saved with your order but a handwritten note won't be included, as gift cards are delivered digitally. If you'd like a handwritten note, consider pairing your gift card with one of my products.
How are items and gift sets packaged?
All items and gift sets are securely packaged and ready for gifting. Please note that orders sent via post do not include shredded paper. Due to Royal Mail packing requirements, they are shipped in bubble wrap and other protective packaging materials to ensure they arrive safely.

Are your candles and diffusers handmade?
Yes, every product is handmade by me in Ampthill, Bedfordshire with care and attention to detail. I take pride in crafting each piece to the highest standard.
How long do your candles burn?
Burn times vary by product and are listed on each product page. For best results, please follow my candle care guidelines.
How do I care for my candle, wax melts or diffuser?

Delivery
How long does delivery take?
I aim to dispatch all orders within 3 to 4 working days. Delivery times will depend on your chosen shipping method at checkout.
Do you offer free shipping?
Please check my Shipping Policy for current free shipping thresholds and available delivery options.
Do you ship internationally?
I currently ship within the UK only. I do not offer international shipping at this time.

What if my order arrives damaged?
I'm sorry to hear that. Please contact me as soon as possible with your order number and a photo of the damage and I'll make it right.
Workshops & Events
Do you offer candle-making workshops?
Yes. I offer workshops where you can learn the art of candle making. Private workshops are held in my home studio for groups of two or three people and run from January to October, excluding November and December. Public workshops are organised throughout the festive period.
