Refund policy

Overview

We want you to be happy with your purchase from The Ampthill Alchemist. This policy explains how returns, exchanges and refunds work when you shop with us.

Returns

If you would like to return an item, please contact us within fourteen days of receiving your order.

To be eligible for a return:

Items must be unused
Items must be unopened
Items must be in their original condition
Packaging must be intact
Proof of purchase must be provided

We cannot accept returns on used items or items that are not in a resaleable condition.

Scent Preference

Fragrance is a personal experience. We cannot accept returns or offer refunds for items returned because the scent is not to your taste. Please consider this when choosing your products.

Return Postage

You are responsible for paying the postage cost to return your item. We recommend using a tracked service so your parcel reaches us safely.

If the item is faulty or incorrect, we will cover the return postage.

How to Start a Return

To begin a return, email us at theampthillalchemist@gmail.com with:

Your order number
The item you wish to return
A brief note explaining the reason
A photo if the item is damaged or incorrect

We will guide you through the next steps.

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will let you know if your refund has been approved.

Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method. Please allow a few working days for your bank or card provider to process the refund.

Delivery charges are non refundable unless the item was faulty or incorrect.

Exchanges

Exchanges are only available for unopened and unused items in their original packaging.

If you would like to exchange an item, contact us and we will help you choose a replacement. Exchanges are subject to stock availability.

Damaged or Incorrect Items

If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact us within seven days of delivery. Include your order number and a photo so we can resolve the issue quickly.
